Hello,

Is there any reason why the MacOS objects softwareupdate_object and
gatekeeper_object do not have a filter element? Is this a bug?

Thanks,

_Dragos.

Dragos,
My guess is that because both gatekeeper and softwareupdate objects are singletons, so they’d only result in a single system characteristics item, similar to something like passwordpolicy or lockoutpolicy in the Windows schema.

Cheers,
-Bill M.
