I'm seeing all these definitions, but also have seen some notices of OVAL Generators and CIS Hardening standards.
I've been unable to find any generator and it appears it's all manual? Am I looking for the wrong thing, a non-existent thing? I would love to start with the CIS Hardening standards and then be able to remove / edit items or have some kind of script or GUI to build an OVAL definitions file.
Possible?
Many thanks,
